San Diego's On-Call Demolition Crew
Our crews take on light demolition all across San Diego County, with same-day scheduling when the calendar allows.
Demolition Across San Diego
A wall coming out during a kitchen remodel, a fence line that finally rotted through, or an above-ground pool nobody's used in years — that's the range of light demolition we take on across San Diego County. Some of these teardowns also clear structures sitting inside the defensible-space buffer that San Diego's Very High Fire Severity Zone rules require, with new Zone 0 requirements phasing in by February 2027, but plenty are just a remodel or a backyard nobody wants anymore. We handle the teardown and the haul-off, county-wide.
Booking seven days a week, anywhere in the county.

What It Costs in San Diego
What a demo job costs depends on the volume of debris it generates and the weight class of what's coming down — a stud-wall teardown fills the truck lighter than a concrete patio does.
Debris Volume
A small shed teardown fills a fraction of the load; a full interior gut fills it fast.
Material Weight Class
Concrete and tile weigh more than framing and drywall, and the dump bills us by weight.
Site Access
Structures behind a narrow side gate or up a hillside lot take longer to clear.
Landfill Pass-Through
Transfer-station and landfill charges get added at cost, nothing padded on top.
Torn-out structures sometimes turn up an old paint can or a forgotten water heater tank. Paint goes out through a free PaintCare drop-off, and anything hazardous gets diverted through Miramar's household hazardous-waste program rather than getting hauled off with the framing and drywall.
You'll have a firm price before the first wall comes down, and it doesn't change once the debris is loaded.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as light demolition?
Sheds, decks, fences, interior walls, flooring, small outbuildings, above-ground pools and concrete slabs. It's structure removal on a residential or small-commercial scale, not multi-story teardowns.
Is this different from the city's bulky-item pickup?
San Diego's bulky-item pickup is a curbside program for household items — book through Get It Done or 858-694-7000, twice per year, six items max. It doesn't touch torn-out framing, concrete or fencing, which is debris a private haul like ours is built to take.
Do you pull permits before tearing something down?
Permits are the property owner's responsibility. Once you've got what you need, we handle the physical teardown and haul everything off.
What happens to the concrete and metal you take out?
Heavier material like concrete and scrap metal gets weighed and routed separately from general debris, which is part of why dense material costs more to remove.
