How a Junk Removal Booking Works
Four steps, no waiting around: photo, price, pickup, done.
The Four Steps
- 01
Send Photos, Get a Price
Snap a few photos of the pile and send them through the quote form. We size up the volume and weight and text back a firm price, usually within the hour.
- 02
Pick Your Window
Pick a same-day or next-day window that works for you. We'll text when the truck is on its way so you're not stuck waiting around all day.
- 03
We Load and Sweep
The crew confirms the price at the door, then loads everything straight into the truck. Once the space is clear, we sweep up before we leave.
- 04
It Gets Sorted, Not Dumped
We sort what we haul — donations, recycling, and true trash each go where they belong. You're left with an empty space and one flat price.
Two or three clear photos from different angles is usually enough — no in-person walk-through needed just to get a number.
How We Price a Job
Every price starts the same way: you send us two or three photos of what needs to go, we size it up, and we text back a fixed number — usually within the hour, with no in-person visit required. That price holds when the crew arrives; if the job's changed since the photos, we'll walk you through any adjustment before we touch a thing, and there's no obligation to book once you have the number.
What to send
Two or three clear photos of the pile, taken from different angles.
How we size it up
We look at what's in the photos and text back a fixed price, no site visit needed.
What holds at pickup
The number we send is the number on the invoice, unless the job's changed since the photos.
No obligation
Getting a price costs nothing, and you're not booked into anything until you pick a window.
The price we agree on before we start is the price on the invoice — no clock running once loading begins.
What the Crew Does on Arrival
The crew shows up in the window we texted and confirms the price before touching anything. We protect floors and doorways on the way out, then load room by room until the space is clear. Before we leave, someone sweeps up whatever got left behind. You end up with a clear space and a signed receipt.
We send however many hands the job needs — a couple of people for a garage corner, more for a full clear-out.
What We Can and Can't Take
We take
- Old furniture
- Couches and mattresses
- Appliances, working or not
- Yard waste and branches
- Construction and remodel debris
- Electronics and TVs
- Exercise equipment
- Hot tubs
- Sheds, disassembled
- Carpet and flooring
- Office furniture and file cabinets
- Storage unit clean-outs
We can't take
- Hazardous waste
- Paint
- Solvents
- Asbestos
- Tyres
- Medical waste
- Propane tanks
Paint has its own free drop-off through PaintCare, a statewide program most paint stores take part in. Household hazardous waste and e-waste like batteries and bulbs can go to the county's Miramar HHW Transfer Facility by appointment. Asbestos, tyres, medical waste, and propane need a licensed specialty handler — we can point you toward one, but we don't load them onto our trucks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be home when the crew arrives?
No, as long as the items are accessible and the price is already confirmed. Leave a gate code or instructions with our office and we'll text photos once the space is clear.
How is this different from the city's free bulky-item pickup?
San Diego's Get It Done program picks up up to six items twice a year, by appointment, curbside only. We work on your schedule, take more than six items at a time, and haul straight from the house or garage.
How can you give a price from photos instead of an in-person visit?
Most piles are easy to size up from a few clear photos, so we can judge volume and weight without a walk-through. If the pile is bigger once we arrive, we'll say so before touching anything.
What if I want to add something once the crew is already there?
Just point it out. We'll adjust the price on the spot and confirm it with you before loading the extra item, so the total never surprises you.
