Short-Notice and Same-Week Moves
Short-notice interstate moves happen, but they're tighter to arrange than a local job, since a truck and crew have to be free for the whole trip, not just a day. Outside peak PCS season we can often turn around a same-week booking. Inside it — especially late June into early July — book as early as your orders let you.

If you're in a downtown high-rise — Marina District, East Village, Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter and similar buildings — most require booking a loading dock and elevator window ahead of time, plus a certificate of insurance naming the property manager. Pass along your building's address at booking and we'll get that squared away before the truck shows up.
What happens if something gets damaged on a long-distance move?
